黄海（杜汶泽 饰）在日本借巨额高利贷做本钱经营皮条生意，结果中计导致血本无归。黄海无奈只得在新宿街头扒窃，机缘巧合偷到了小学同学——轻度弱智的李子俊（黎明 饰）头上。李子俊随大哥到日本，不幸与其失散，只有独自在街头痴等。被黑社会痛打的黄海宿醉街头，李子俊施以援手入住黄海处，二人经济状况很快困窘。黄海求助好友燕姐（杨贵媚 饰），却意外发现李子俊颇受女性欢迎，其怀抱拥有使人快乐的神奇效用。黄海迅速对李子俊展开日语等岗前培训，将他推向了男色市场。李子俊赚钱的能力令黄海看到了还钱的希望，天真无邪的心灵也使黄海在重压下焦灼的内心获得了宽慰。黄海与前妻阿绿（叶璇 饰）相遇之后，他与李子俊陷入了更大的麻烦……
